About Us

Philip Harrison

A Chartered Accountant who joined the profession with Arthur Andersen, Phil likes to work closely with his clients. His computer skills have been employed by one of the region´s largest independent firms as head of computer consultancy services, before joining Cobham Murphy in 1993. He is therefore naturally an advocate of using computers extensively in business - but more importantly, he makes the time to show his clients what can be possible, and helps them to realise their full potential. Phil also has particular expertise in property matters with over 50 clients in this sector.

John Green

A specialist in the detection, investigation and prosecution of large scale fraud and tax evasion whilst at the Inland Revenue, where he spent 23 years and was attached to Special Compliance Office for many years, John now heads our tax team. Experience of John´s nature is rarely found outside the ´big four´, and is yet another indication of our total commitment to providing a first class service to our clients.

Under John´s guidance, the Cobham Murphy Fiscal Investigation Team is amongst the best in the country and represents clients throughout the UK and Europe who are subject to investigation by Government Agencies. John is also experienced in dispute resolution and is available to mediate and facilitate settlement in all forms of commercial dispute.

Eifion Roberts

Management Accounting, Computerised Systems and Corporation Tax are areas of special interest to Eifion. Eifion is another of the "emerging new breed" of Chartered Accountants who take a very commercial view of their clients´ businesses, looking for ways of improving profitability and reducing taxation.

Morag Collins

Morag has recently joined Cobham Murphy with 15 years experience of investigation work, including a long spell in Special Civil Investigations, the high level investigation arm of the Revenue responsible for dealing with tax evasion and serious fraud.
